<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel pressurizing position adjusting device easily bringing a resistance roller closer to a wheel and easily bringing it into pressure contact with the wheel in a cycle trainer. <P>SOLUTION: A lever 9 to which a resistance roller 10a for supporting a rear wheel 3 is attached is turnably supported to a bracket 5, and a tilt position accompanied by the turning of the lever 9 is changed to adjust the position of the resistance roller 10a relative to the rear wheel 3. A movable mechanism 11 includes a first operation knob 16 adapted to bring the resistance roller 10a closer to the rear wheel 3; and a second operation knob 18 adapted to bring the resistance roller 10a into pressure contact with the rear wheel 3, when the tilt angle θ of the lever 9 is changed by moving, by the movable mechanism 11, a support 8 that supports the lever 9 and sets a tilt angle θ of the lever 9. The movable mechanism 11 is simply constituted by compactly assembling a moving tube 12, a moving rod 13, a first female/male threading mechanism 17, a second female/male threading mechanism 15, the first operation knob 16, the second operation knob 18, and a spring 20 together. This device can easily bring the resistance roller 10a closer to the rear wheel 3 and easily bring the resistance roller into pressure contact with the rear wheel using two types of operation knobs 16 and 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
