<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in delay and determine normality of a SDH frame. <P>SOLUTION: A BIP-4 operation part 103 calculates a BIP-4 operation value of each row of a SDH frame, and transmits a calculation result to a POH insertion part 102. The POH insertion part 102 rearranges a POH byte and the BIP-4 operation result on a POH region by regarding a disuse byte in the POH region as a free region. A BIP-4 operation part 212 calculates a BIP-4 operation value for each row of a received SDH frame, and detects an error by comparing the calculation value and a BIP-4 operation value calculated for the row by a transmitter. A POH monitor part 214 extracts the rearranged POH byte and transmits the extracted byte to a POH restoration part 215. The POH restoration part 215 restores the POH region to a state before the rearrangement performed by the POH insertion part 102, by using the extracted POH byte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
