<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply auxiliary brake pressure with good responsiveness even when a fast output of the auxiliary brake pressure is necessitated, for example, when an abrupt steering operation is necessitated. <P>SOLUTION: When such a vehicle behavior stabilization control is performed that a braking controlled variable is generated in at least one of front and rear outer turning wheels W<SB POS="POST">FL</SB>, W<SB POS="POST">RL</SB>(W<SB POS="POST">FR</SB>, W<SB POS="POST">RR</SB>) to stabilize the behavior of a vehicle 10 and such a condition is satisfied that the braking controlled variable is generated in each of the front and rear outer turning wheels W<SB POS="POST">FL</SB>, W<SB POS="POST">RL</SB>(W<SB POS="POST">FR</SB>, W<SB POS="POST">RR</SB>), the auxiliary brake pressure is applied to at least one of the front and rear outer turning wheels W<SB POS="POST">FL</SB>, W<SB POS="POST">RL</SB>(W<SB POS="POST">FR</SB>, W<SB POS="POST">RR</SB>).
