The battery has several unit battery cells (2) which are directly or stacked together with the intermediate frame (5) to form a cell stack (1). A temperature control device (6) is mounted on one side of the cell stack. An electrically insulating material (10) is provided between the temperature control device and the cell stack. Several spacers are provided between cell stack and temperature control device, so that gap for electrically insulating heat-conducting material in set with small size.
