A water-mill-type furnace for a hot-stamping is provided to reach heating temperature suitable for performance of a steel sheet easily, to keep the heating temperature, and to transfer heat efficiently. A water-mill-type furnace for a hot-stamping comprises a supply conveyor(14), a discharge conveyor(16), a cylindrical furnace(10), a drive unit, a plurality of rotary blades(26), porous jigs(28), and protection plates(30). The supply conveyor advances a blank steel sheet(18). The discharge conveyor carries the heated steel sheet to a press(38). The cylindrical furnace is located between the conveyors and provided with an inlet(20) and an outlet(22). The inlet of the furnace receives the steel sheet from the supply conveyor. The outlet of the furnace discharges the steel sheet to the discharge conveyor. The drive unit is connected with the distal end of a rotary shaft(24) passing by the center of the furnace. The rotary blades are integrally mounted on the outer surface of the rotary shaft radially. The jigs are located between the rotary blades and the inner end of the jig is fixed to the outer surface of the rotary shaft. The protection plate is hinged at the outer diameter surface of the rotary shaft to cover an opening of the jig. |
