PURPOSE: An image forming unit, a control method thereof, and manipulation panel printed-circuit board assembly are provided to store additional information related to a task in a task queue and transmit the additional information to a main control unit after the completion of the booting of the main control unit when a user requests a task before the completion of the booting. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(101e) determines whether a main PBA(Print Board Assembly)(201) is being booted or not according to a task request of a user. If the main PBA is being booted, the control unit displays information on a screen for receiving additional information related to the requested task by the control of a display unit(101b). The control unit the inputted additional information and task information in a storage unit(101d) as the screen is displayed. If the booting is completed, the control unit transmits the stored information to the main PBA by the control of an interface unit(101c).
