PURPOSE: A brake pad for a vehicle is provided to secure shear strength of a friction material and a back plate in the brake pad. CONSTITUTION: A brake pad for a vehicle comprises a core(1), a back plate(2), a friction material(3), a lower layer material(4), an abrasion sensor(5), and a spot welding part. In the back plate, the core is attached. In the back side of the back plate, a friction material is adhered by the medium of the lower layer material. The lower layer member is placed between the back plate and friction material. In the lower layer material, abrasion sensors adhered to the back plate are attached to the spot welding part and reinforce the adhesion strength of the friction material. |
