<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a germinal difluoro compound, by which a raw material substrate is easily available, operations are easy and a high yield is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing the geminal difluoro compound includes a step of reacting fluorine-containing sulfuric acid enol esters with a fluorinating agent (hydrogen fluoride, "a salt or a complex comprising an organic base and hydrogen fluoride" or the like).
