<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo controller capable of reducing the power consumption of the entire servo system without requiring a high sampling frequency needlessly, and an optical disk drive. <P>SOLUTION: A sampling frequency conversion part for converting a sampling frequency is provided between a servo error detection circuit and a servo signal processor, a first clock is included as a sampling clock of an A/D converter and a processing clock of the servo error detection circuit, a second clock is included as a processing clock of the servo signal processor, and the sampling frequency conversion part synchronizes a servo error signal by the servo error detection circuit with the first clock to be processed, synchronizes the servo error detection signal processed in synchronization with the first clock with the second clock to be processed, and converts a sampling frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
