<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method in which a microcapsule with an exact membrane is easily manufactured only by the reaction in an aqueous solution. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a microcapsule includes: a process that prepares a first aqueous solution including a water-soluble polysaccharide having a carboxyl group, and a second aqueous solution including a silane compound having an amino group; and a process in which the first aqueous solution and the second aqueous solution are contacted to generate the microcapsule.
