FUEL INJECTION VALVE

A fuel injection valve used for an internal combustion engine is configured so that the distance reached by spray is reduced. A fuel injection valve is configured so that the fuel injection valve has: a circular cone-shaped valve seat surface which comes into contact with the valve body to seal in fuel; and fuel injection holes which have inlet openings formed in the valve seal surface, and so that fuel spray ejected from the fuel injection holes has: first spray which comprises spray ejected from at least one of the fuel injection holes; and second spray which comprises spray ejected to the outer periphery of the first spray. The fuel injection valve is characterized in that the fuel injection hole which ejects the first spray is configured in such a manner that a plane which includes the axis of the injection hole, the axis connecting the center of the inlet of the fuel injection hole and the center of the outlet thereof, and which is parallel to the center axis of the fuel injection valve intersects, at a tilt angle greater than zero degree, a plane including the center axis of the fuel injection valve and also including a straight line passing through the center of the inlet of the fuel injection hole and through the apex of the circular conical shape which forms the valve seat surface.
