<p>In the present invention, a mixed aqueous solution is prepared by blending prescribed proportions of a P source such as H3PO4, a divalent iron compound such as FeSO4·7H2O and an oxidizing agent such as H2O2. Next, this mixed aqueous solution is added dropwise to a buffer solution having a pH of 1.5 to 9 so as to generate a FePO4·nH2O co-precipitated powder. LiOH·nH2O is dissolved in pure water so as to obtain a strongly alkaline aqueous solution having a pH of 12 to 13, the FePO4·nH2O is added to the strongly alkaline aqueous solution so as to cause a reaction between the FePO4·nH2O and the LiOH·nH2O and produce a LiFePO4 co-precipitated powder, and this LiFePO4 co-precipitated powder is then fired so as to obtain a LiFePO4 fired powder. In this way, it is possible to easily produce a finely particulate, high purity iron lithium phosphate, which is suitable for use as an electrode active substance for a secondary battery, using a simple production process.</p> |
