A method for regenerating a catalyzed particulate filter using a turbocharger is provided to prevent the manufacturing cost from additionally increasing and to facilitate setting of a layout. A method for regenerating a catalyzed particulate filter using a turbocharger comprises the steps of detecting pressures in the front and rear ends of a catalyzed particulate filter(S101) and determining if it is necessary to regenerate the catalyzed particulate filter(S102). When it is necessary to regenerate the catalyzed particulate filter, a vane of a turbocharger is opened(S103). After the vane of the turbocharger is opened, pressures in the front and rear ends of the catalyzed particulate filter is detected again(S104). It is determined if regeneration of the catalyzed particulate filter has been completed(S105). When the regeneration of the catalyzed particulate filter has been completed, the procedure returns to a general boost map(S106). |
