SINGLE PHASE AND THREE PHASE UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM USING SINGLE PHASE FET INVERTER MODULE FOR TELECOMMUNICATION APPLICATION

PURPOSE: An uninterruptible power supply system for communication using a single phase FET inverter is provided to efficiently correspond to an added AC load by additionally installing a modularized 48V DC single phase inverter module in a conventional 48V DC supply. CONSTITUTION: A 48V DC power supply(10) includes a three phase AC/DC rectifier(11) and a storage battery(12). The three phase AC/DC rectifier converts three phase power into 48V DC power. A 48V DC single inverter module(100) includes a single inverter(110), a bypass path switch unit, a transformer, and a module controller. The single phase inverter receives single phase AC power and converts the single phase AC power into DC power. The DC power is charged in the storage battery. The module controller controls the single phase inverter and the bypass path switch unit.
