<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building with shelter in which a room in a part of an existent building is used as a shelter, so that even many individuals are enabled to apply tsunami countermeasure strengths to their own houses while reducing space and cost. <P>SOLUTION: Any columns, walls, floors and the like other than openings of a room in a part of an existent building 10 have a required tsunami countermeasure strength and air-tightness in the existent building and are utilized. In the case where a skeleton portion such as a column, wall or floor in a room of a part of the existent building 10 does not have the required tsunami countermeasure strength and air-tightness, the skeleton is reinforced to have the tsunami countermeasure strength and air-tightness. In the case of disaster emergency, openings such as an entrance/exit or windows of the relevant room are air-tightly sealed by shutters each of which is composed of a metallic strong frame and a metallic strong water stop shutting an opening surface within the frame and in each of which the water stop is brought into press contact with the strong frame while interposing a water stop material through tension compression, thereby providing a shelter 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
