<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removal device, the installation space of which is saved, and which has a simple structure, is capable of being operated at low cost and is used for removing dust in exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: In the dust removal device, from a duct 1 through which a gas, containing powder and granular objects (hereafter called dust) such as mine dust, fly ash and dust coal, pass, the dust is removed. In the dust removal device, a buffer part 5, which is widened toward the direction of the gravitational force, is arranged in such a portion that a flow path is formed almost linearly in the direction inclined at ≤45°, at the least, or the horizontal direction. Also, a baffle plate 2 is arranged at a downstream-side position (preferably at a dead end side position) of the buffer part 5 in the flow direction of the gas and the installation position, height and width area of the baffle plate 2 is set so that the gas bypasses the baffle plate 2 in the direction of the gravitational force and flows through the flow path positioned on the downstream side of the dead end of the buffer part 5. Also, dust is collected/accumulated on the bottom wall side of the buffer part 5 by the centrifugal force to act on the dust when the gas bypasses the baffle plate, and an openable/closable opening 3 is arranged at deposition positions 7, 8 of dust on the bottom wall side of the buffer part 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
