<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device capable of properly correcting a sound to be output and outputting a sound easily heard by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A portable electronic device includes: a sound reproduction unit; an input unit; a timer; a processing unit including a presentation sound generation unit for generating a presentation sound to be reproduced by the sound reproduction unit, a measurement result determination unit for determining a response to the presentation sound reproduced by the sound reproduction unit when the input unit receives the response, and a correction parameter setting unit for setting a correction parameter for adjusting the volume of the sound on the basis of the determination result of the measurement result determination unit; and a correction unit for correcting a sound signal on the basis of the correction parameter and supplying the corrected sound signal to the sound reproduction unit. The measurement result determination unit detects a response time from the reproduction of the presentation sound until the input of the response with the timer and calculates the determination result in which a result of correctness of the response is weighed with the response time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
