<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve repulsion performance and productivity in a well-balanced manner. <P>SOLUTION: A golf club head 1 includes a face portion 3 having a face 2 for hitting a ball on the front face and has a hollow portion i in the inside. The face portion 3 includes a central thick portion 9 which is provided in the center region of the face 2 and a peripheral thin portion 10 which is provided around the central thick portion 9 and is thinner than the central thick portion 9. A peripheral back surface portion 10H facing the side of the hollow portion i of the peripheral thin portion 10 is composed of a first region 13 where a plurality of first grooves G1 that extend straightly along the peripheral back surface portion 10H are disposed, and a second region 14 where a plurality of second grooves G2 that extend straightly in a direction different from the first grooves G1 are disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
