<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow automatic adjustment of light brightness of backlight in accordance with an installation place of field equipment including a liquid crystal display unit, in consideration of the problem in which power consumption is larger because light brightness of backlight has been set in reference to a dark installation place and it is troublesome to adjust light brightness of the backlight in accordance with the installation place. <P>SOLUTION: A light amount detection unit for detecting brightness of an installation place is provided, and a driving current for driving backlight is controlled in accordance with an output of the light amount detection unit. Since light brightness of the backlight is varied in accordance with brightness of the installation place, light adjustment of the backlight is unnecessary and the power consumption can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
