<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve gripping performance during turning of a pneumatic tire for a motorcycle having a split tread, without sacrificing other performances during turning. <P>SOLUTION: An outer tread rubber 9 that constitutes a tread surface 2a is divided into an outer crown rubber 9c in the center and an outer shoulder rubber 9s at both side thereof. An inner shoulder rubber 10 is arranged inside each outer shoulder rubber 9s. The rubber hardness Hs of the outer shoulder rubber 9s is controlled to be lower by a range of 3 to 15 degrees than the rubber hardness Hc of the outer crown rubber 9c, while the rubber hardness 9i of the inner shoulder rubber 10 is controlled to be higher than the rubber hardness Hs of the outer shoulder rubber 9s. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
