<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that reduces processing for detecting the posture of the imaging device in order to execute predetermined processing according to the tilt of the imaging device, and can execute the predetermined processing with no delay according to the tilt of the imaging device, a control method therefor, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 100, when a predetermined angular velocity is detected by an angular velocity detection unit 103, acquires the tilt of the digital camera 100 only with respect to a direction in which the angular velocity is detected, the tilt being detected by a posture detection unit 102, and comprises control means that controls execution of predetermined processing such as the change of image orientation according to the acquired tilt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
