<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device in which layout change is easily performed without a special construction work. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding door device comprises a jamb defining an opening, fixed panels 23, 24 forming a doorway 30 at the opening, and sliding door panels 27, 28 capable of freely moving back and forward along the fixed panels 23, 24 to open and close the doorway 30. The fixed panels 23, 24 are rotatably supported by the jamb and are structured to be movable so that the position of formation of the doorway 30 can be changed. There are options of four patterns, namely, a mode in which the two sliding door panels are slid from the center to the sides for opening and slid in the opposite way for closing, a mode in which each of the two sliding door panels on both sides is slid in one direction for opening and in the opposite direction for closing, any mode can be selected in which both of the two sliding door panels are opened and closed right and left-hand modes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
