<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which can easily switch its operation to a power-saving operation during operation. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a washing machine capable of executing a normal operation and a power-saving operation having lower power consumption than that of the normal operation, having various kinds of operation keys, and switching its operation so as to execute the power-saving operation (S5) when the specific key of the operation kyes is operated during the normal operation (YES at S2).
