<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip comprising a mount base to be mounted on the inner panel of a door and a hollow sealing part integrally formed on the mount base, for eliminating insufficient sealing due to intrusion of rain water or the like through a triangular gap formed when the sealing part is pressed to a step formed on the panel of a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing part 6 includes a thick part 22 locally formed in a patch state by sticking a sponge tape to the sealing surface of a part to be pressed to a step 15 formed on the sealing contact part of a vehicle body.
