<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of an image definition caused by enlargement of an image signal in a case where a contour emphasis signal is added to the image signal. <P>SOLUTION: A signal processing apparatus 10 comprises: a contour emphasis signal reduction part 130 which reduces a contour emphasis signal from a contour emphasized signal obtained by adding the contour emphasis signal to an image signal, thereby generating a reduced signal; an interpolating and enlarging part 140 which interpolates and enlarges the reduced signal generated by the contour emphasis signal reduction part 130, thereby generating an enlarged signal; and a contour emphasis part 150 which performs contour emphasis on the enlarged signal generated by the interpolating and enlarging part 140. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
