<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device and an electric power steering device that, even if decoupling control is done, can stably perform control actions without inviting declines in responsivity and followability. <P>SOLUTION: A device has motor turning angle velocity calculating means (60) that calculates motor turning angle velocity by differentiating the turning angle of a motor (1); a low-pass filter (63) that subjects the motor turning angle velocity to signal processing; and low-pass filter gain altering means (80) that alters the gain of the low-pass filter (63) according to a value calculated from a map (61) representing the relationship between the turning angle of the motor and the gain of the low-pass filter. Based on a motor turning angle velocity outputted on the basis of the low-pass filter (63) whose gain has been altered, decoupling control is executed to so cause a current to flow to the motor as to cancel a current generated by the counter electromotive force of the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
