<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical instrument capable of stopping a lens at a position where electric power consumption is small without causing image blur. <P>SOLUTION: An optical instrument includes: a lens drive device which is supplied with electric power from a camera body and drives a focus regulation lens; a diaphragm driving device which drives a diaphragm; and a drive controller which stops the focus regulation lens at a position where electric power consumption is small and the lens can be held and which controls the diaphragm driving device so as to regulate an opening amount of the diaphragm in which the focal position by the focus regulation lens is settled. Thus, lens position control devices S04 to S06 for controlling an AF motor can stop the lens at a position where electric power consumption is small without causing image blur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
