<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geographical bookmark function of an electronic book and relativity of the electronic book regarding information on the same area. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic book display device 100 includes: a geographical information extraction unit 110 which extracts book specification information specifying an electronic book, text string representing a geographical position in text information described in the electronic book, and a description position where the text string is described; a geocoding unit 120 which converts the geographical position that the extracted text string represents into latitude and longitude information; a retrieval data storage unit 130 which associates the obtained latitude and longitude, the text string which is the source of them, and the description position where the text string is described with the book specification information and stores them in a mutually retrievable state; and a retrieval result display unit 140 which performs retrieval from the retrieval data storage unit 130 with one or more of the latitude and longitude, an area, an area name, and an electronic book name as keywords, and extracts and displays an electronic book related to the keywords. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
