<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing facility capable of improving processing work efficiency while avoiding the increase in a control load of a processing unit. <P>SOLUTION: A processing facility is so constructed as to perform advance transportation control as follows. Transportation management means HC controls a transportation vehicle 3 that transports a processing object, traveling along a carrier line passing through a plurality of processing units 1 and a stock unit Q storing processing objects. While monitoring processing progress information sent from the plurality of processing units 1 to main management means JC, the transportation management means HC extracts a processing unit 1 as an advance transportation origin from the plurality of processing units 1, which has finished or almost finished the process of a processing object, before receiving transportation command information from the main management means JC.
