<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, by applying quickly and efficiently theoretical nominal command values of a gear shift device of a bicycle to actual gear shift device, after taking fabrication tolerances and assembly tolerances of the gear shift device and shape of the bicycle into consideration, for performing electronic control of the gear shift device, and to provide the gear shift device, the derailleur, and the bicycle. <P>SOLUTION: As a command value to an actuator for moving a chain, a first actual command value H<SB POS="POST">A</SB>associated with a first gear of at least three coaxial gears and a second actual command value H<SB POS="POST">B</SB>associated with a second gear are detected (110,120), theoretical nominal command value Q<SB POS="POST">i</SB>associated with the gear, for each gear is obtained (130), and actual command value to the actuator is calculated on the basis of nominal command value Q<SB POS="POST">i</SB>the first and second actual command values H<SB POS="POST">B</SB>and H<SB POS="POST">A</SB>, for each gear other than at least the first and second gears (140). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
