<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method of preventing over-rotation in addition to an existing method of using a mechanical brake when a wind turbine is in over-rotation in a device using a permanent magnet type generator able to take out approximate wind turbine maximum output from the wind turbine without using a PWM converter. <P>SOLUTION: An over-rotation prevention circuit of a power generator for a distributed power supply obtains approximate maximum output of a wind turbine without using a control circuit from a permanent magnet type generator driven by the wind turbine regardless of wind velocity, and in order to prevent over-rotation of the wind turbine, each rectifier is connected in series via each capacitor connected to each output terminal of a plurality of insulated coils generating different magnitude of induction voltage of the permanent magnet type generator, outputs direct current output of each rectifier, by making the direct current output in parallel connection, to a direct current power supply, and determines the value of each capacitor so that the load torque of the permanent magnet type generator will be at or above the maximum shaft torque of the wind turbine or a hydraulic turbine at the rating revolution speed of the wind turbine or hydraulic turbine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
