<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of reliably preventing contact corrosion that occurs between a pipe joint of a copper-based alloy and an Al pipe. <P>SOLUTION: At a tip part of a cap nut 2 of the pipe joint, an annular-shaped insulation ring 40 is attached which corresponds to an outer circumferential surface of a pipe P to be connected. An axis direction hole part of the cap nut 2 is formed with a recessed groove part in the vicinity of a top surface 23 of the cap nut. The insulation ring 40 has a bulging part, a thin wall cylinder wall part, and an outer flange part standing from an outer end of the cylinder wall part to the outer radial direction, and is integrally formed with a rubber material or plastic having insulation properties. The bulging part of the insulation ring 40 is fitted in the recessed groove part, the cylinder wall part covers an inner circumferential surface of an inner flange part in the vicinity of the front end surface 23 of the cap nut, and the outer flange part is configured to cover the front end surface 23 of the cap nut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
