GAS SHIELDED ARC WELDING METHOD, AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To naturally perform excellent welding securing penetration at an end of a groove even in a narrow groove.

SOLUTION: In performing gas shielded arc welding while swinging a welding torch 20, the tip of the welding torch 20 is subjected to inverted arc swing at a swing angle >180° and <360° based on the front point in a welding advance direction on a plane perpendicular to the feed direction of a welding wire 24 of the welding torch 20, and an inverted arc swing condition is set in response to a welding speed so that the trajectory of the tip of the welding torch 20 overlaps the previous trajectory at the right and left ends of the swing.
