<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device capable of improving heating efficiency for an image on a recording material even when it is used at a different power source voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A heating body has resistance heating elements A, B, C, and D in that order from the upstream side in the direction of recording material conveyance. If the respective resistance values of the resistance heating elements A, B, C, and D are assumed as R1, R2, R3, and R4, the resistance values have the relations expressed by R1=R2 and R3=R4. In a case where a power source voltage is lower than a predetermined voltage, the resistance heating elements A and B are connected in parallel and the resistance heating elements C and D are also connected in parallel. In a case where the power source voltage is higher than the predetermined voltage, the resistance heating elements A and B are connected in series and also the resistance heating elements C and D are connected in series. Additionally, the pair of resistance heating elements A and B connected in series and the pair of resistance heating elements c and D connected in series are connected in parallel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
