The invention relates to a drive train for a motor vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, ° having at least one drive machine (1) which generates driving power for driving the vehicle; ° - having a power split (11) which is connected downstream of the drive machine in the direction of the driving power flux and which splits the driving power into a plurality of power branches (5, 6, 7, 24) which are parallel to one another; ° - having a summing gear (8) which combines the driving power from the plurality of parallel power branches and passes on the combined driving power to drive driven wheels of the motor vehicle; ° - wherein the parallel power branches comprise a first power branch (5) with a first hydrodynamic clutch and/or a first hydrodynamic converter (9) which transmit/transmits the driving power of the first power branch hydrodynamically; and ° - the parallel power branches comprise a second power branch (6) with a second hydrodynamic clutch and/or a second hydrodynamic converter (10) which transmit/transmits the driving power of the second power branch hydrodynamically. The invention is characterized in that the parallel power branches comprise a third, purely mechanical power branch (7) which transmits the driving power of the third power branch exclusively mechanically in parallel with the hydrodynamic transmission of power in the first and/or second power branch. |
