The present invention relates to an EDA receptor (EDAR) ligand-derived novel peptide and uses thereof, the EDAR ligand belonging to the TNF-a family. EDA3 and EDphD1 according to the present invention, an EDA-derived peptide and an EDAR ligand-derived peptide, respectively, perform similar functions as a naturally-occurring EDA and are more stable compared to same, and also have excellent skin permeability. A composite comprising the peptide according to the present invention is beneficial for hair growth and against hair loss, and is effective in treating, preventing and alleviating diseases or conditions requiring an activation of EDA proteins. Additionally, the superior activation and safety of the peptide can be used beneficially in drugs, quasi-drugs, and cosmetics. |
