A phased array transmission device is provided with: branch detection units (121, 122) which extract the transmission output of a plurality of transmission branches (101, 102) by means of coupler units (161, 162), and detect the signal level of each of the transmission branches subjected to extraction; and a synthesis detection unit (130) which detects the output of a signal synthesis unit (110) which synthesizes output from the two transmission branches subjected to extraction. Amplitude errors are detected and corrected by comparing the output level of the branch detection units (121, 122), and phase errors are detected and corrected by using the output level of the synthesis detection unit (130).
