<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop line detection system, a stop line detection device, a stop line detection method, and a computer program that are capable of appropriately detecting a stop line formed on a road surface. <P>SOLUTION: A stop line detection system is configured to determine whether or not there is a break, being equal to or wider than the width of a cross road, of a lane line and whether or not a side edge part of a stop line candidate in a vehicle travelling direction and an end part forming the break of the lane line are within a predetermined distance (S31, S32), on the basis of detection results of the stop line candidate and the shape of the lane line, when detecting a feature (stop line candidate) as a candidate of a stop line, by using a highly accurate location system in which a stop line is to be recognized, and to specify the stop line candidate as a stop line (S25) if both conditions are determined to be satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
