<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an abnormal sliding noise of a webbing when the webbing is pulled out of or is wound by a seat belt retractor. <P>SOLUTION: In the seat belt retractor in which a part of an upper stay 54 that is attached to the casing of the body of the seat belt retractor and secures the body of the retractor to a fixed part of a vehicle body is provided with a plastic webbing guide 10 having a slit 11 through which the webbing pulled out from the body of the retractor passes, a plurality of longitudinal ribs 12 extending along a sliding direction of the webbing are formed in the inner periphery of the slit 11 of the plastic webbing guide 10 so that the webbing can be pulled out and wound in contact with the surfaces of the longitudinal ribs 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
