<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrometer in which a light passing part provided in a package is positioned with respect to a light incident part provided in the package. <P>SOLUTION: A spectrometer 1A comprises: a package 2 provided with a light incident part 6; a plurality of lead pins 8 penetrating a support part 4 facing the light incident part 6 of the package 2; and a spectroscopic module 3A supported on the support part 4 in the package 2. The spectroscopic module 3A includes a light detection unit 20 provided with a light passing part 22 for allowing light L1 incident from the light incident part 6 to pass, and a spectroscopic unit 30 fixed to the light detection unit 20 so as to be arranged on the side of the support part 4 with respect to the light detection unit 20 and including a spectroscopic part 35 for dispersing the light L1 having passed through the light passing part 22 and making the dispersed light reflect on a light detection part 26.
