<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching valve which is made compact by housing only a part of a valve stem swingably operating a valve element into a valve chest and besides, enables the valve element to be stably operated. <P>SOLUTION: The switching valve 1 includes: a valve body 2 in which a valve chest 4 is disposed; an inflow pipe 5 and outflow pipes 6, 7 which are connected to the valve body 2 so as to be joined to the valve chest 4 through valve ports; a stem 31 which is disposed on a position closer to the outflow pipes 6, 7 than the center of the valve body 2 and serves as an actuation shaft for swinging a valve element 30; and the valve element 30 which is pressed against valve sheets 13, 14 formed around the valve ports 11, 12 and opens and closes the valve ports. The valve element 30 is disposed in a crank shape via an arm part with respect to the valve chest side edge part of the stem 31, can be swung in the valve chest 4 by rotation of the stem 31, thereby it is enough for the valve chest 4 to house only a part of the stem 31 beside the valve element 30 and, as a result, the switching valve can be made compact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
