<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recover a solid phase polymer product in production of a liquid crystalline polyester by solid phase polymerization after melt polymerization. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: melt-polymerizing a raw material monomer in a melt-polymerization vessel to obtain a melt-polymerized product; taking out the melt-polymerized product from the melt-polymerization vessel; and granulating to obtain a granulated product; solid phase-polymerizing the granulated product in a solid phase polymerization vessel to obtain a solid polymerized product; applying an impact to the solid phase polymerization vessel with the solid polymerized product contained therein to take out the solid polymerized product from the solid phase polymerization vessel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
