<p>PURPOSE: An energy harvesting device is provided to achieve a compact structure as a second vibration unit is extended in an opposite direction to a first vibration unit. CONSTITUTION: An energy harvesting device(100) comprises first and second vibration units, and an electric energy generating unit. The first vibration unit is elastically deformed to generate vibration displacement by receiving vibration from a structure(1). One end of the first vibration unit is fixed to the structure, and the first vibration unit is extended in a first direction from one end. The second vibration unit is elastically deformed to generate vibration displacement by receiving vibration from the first vibration unit. One end of the second vibration unit is connected to the other end of the first vibration unit, and the second vibration unit is extended in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The electric energy generating unit converts vibration energy into electric energy.</p> |
