PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll for melt extrusion molding shaping sufficiently promoting improvement in transcription.

SOLUTION: The roll 1 for melt extrusion molding shaping used in melt extrusion molding of a thermoplastic resin includes a roll body 10 with a heating medium flow path 13 formed therein, and a cylindrical member 20 covering a surface of the roll body 10. The roll body 10 is made of a first metal material having a thermal conductivity of at least 40 W/m.K and not more than 100 W/m.K. The cylindrical member 20 is made of a second metal material having a thermal conductivity of not more than 20 W/m.K.
