摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine capable of saving energy even of a temperature rising energy source such as fuel utilized for the temperature rise treatment in an exhaust emission control unit, while preventing the generation of a white smoke through the temperature rise treatment in the exhaust emission control unit provided in an exhaust system. <P>SOLUTION: A control means 20 estimates the accumulative amount of a sulfur compound accumulated in an oxidation catalyst 11 for a diesel and DPF 12. The control means 20 performs the temperature rise control of the temperature of the oxidation catalyst 11 for the diesel and the DPF 12, in a temperature range capable of discharging a sulfur compound and preventing the sulfur compound from turning into a white smoke in an atmosphere, when the accumulative amount of the estimated sulfur compound reaches a discharge requirement amount. Then, after completing the discharge of the sulfur compound through the temperature rise control, the control means 20 removes a particulate component deposited in the DPF 12 through further temperature rise of the oxidation catalyst 11 for the diesel and the DPF 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
