<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing capable of reducing the air-curtain effect generated in a revolving section of balls during the high-speed rotation, and controlling heat generation by sufficiently ensuring oil passing through the bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The ball bearing 30 includes an outer ring 11 having an outer ring raceway groove 11a in an inner peripheral surface, an inner ring 12 having an inner ring raceway groove 12a in an outer circumferential surface, a plurality of balls 13 which are disposed in a rolling manner between the raceway grooves 11a, 12a, and a retainer 14 for storing the balls 13 in a pocket part (a pocket) 17 in a rolling manner, and is oil-lubricated. Shoulder parts 11b, 11c, 12b, 12c are respectively formed on both sides of the axial direction of the raceway grooves 11a, 12a of the outer ring 11 and the inner ring 12. At least one shoulder part 11b of the outer ring 11 and the inner ring 12 on one side of the axial direction is expanded inwardly from the end in the axial direction.
