<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial stone made of expansion-controlled iron and steel slag hydration-solidified body, and to provide production method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This artificial stone made of expansion-controlled iron and steel slag hydration-solidified body is produced by crushing an iron and steel slag hydration-solidified body, which is obtained by kneading either a steelmaking slag single body or a mixture of steelmaking slag and blast furnace slag, granulated blast furnace slag and water, as principal materials, and hardening the kneaded product, where the water-immersed expansion ratio α at 80°C and blending quantity β of steelmaking slag per unit volume satisfy the following formula and conditions: α×β≤9,500 (% kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>) provided that α is a water-immersed expansion ratio (%) at 80°C of steelmaking slag used in iron and steel slag hydration-solidified body stipulated in JIS A-5015, and 0≤α≤15 (%), and β is a blending quantity of steelmaking slag per unit volume of the iron and steel slag hydration-solidified body, and 0<β≤2,300 (kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
