<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle step that allows a person to easily put a foot onto a step surface even when getting into and out of a cabin in a narrow space where a door can be opened halfway. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: a step surface 7a on which a foot is put when a person gets into and out of the cab; and a step cover 7b for supporting the step surface 7a by being surrounded from front, rear, and inside in a vehicle width direction. A notch 12 is formed in at least an outside part of a rear wall surface 7b<SB POS="POST">r</SB>of the step cover 7b in the vehicle width direction. The notch 12 is sealed by a movable wall 13.
