<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve gripping performance in a lateral direction on a snow-covered road without deteriorating other performances. <P>SOLUTION: Rows of projection sections with a plurality of projection sections 20 extending in the circumferential direction separately arranged in the circumferential direction on a buttress surface 3SB and in separated positions on the inside in the radial direction from a grounded edge Te of a tread.
