<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visor installation mechanism in a helmet in which It is easy to attach a visor 5 in a movable plate 32 comparatively, and it is easy to detach it from the movable plate 32 comparatively, a fear that the visor 5 slips out from the movable plate 32 needlessly is comparatively little, and the visor 5 can be attached to the movable plate 32 comparatively surely, and there is especially no necessity to perform a manufacturing process of the vicinity of the end of the visor 5 and the movable plate 32, and a size adjustment process of the vicinity of the end and the visor 5 and the movable plate in high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The visor 5 is configured to be inserted into a slit 41 of a movable plate 32. One of an engaging projecting portion 43 and an engaging recess portion 44 is provided on the visor 5, and the other is provided on the movable plate 32. When the visor 5 pivots in a first direction about the engaging projecting portion 43, a concave corner portion 48a of the visor 5 comes into contact with a first position regulating portion 119 of the movable plate 32, thereby impeding the pivotal movement of the visor 5.
